Original Italian deli with the plus that they also made homemade pastas and meals. Prices and portions are fair, but the taste of the sandwich was the golden factor. Very fresh and full of flavor. Definitely a place to come back.

I’ve been a fan of this Italian deli for years, and it never disappoints! The food is always fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and exactly what you’d expect from a top-notch deli. It’s been around for so long, and every single person I’ve referred has loved it as much as I do. The team there is so welcoming and helpful, no matter what time I visit. I especially appreciate their catering services—unmatched in both quality and service. If you’re looking for delicious food and great people, this is the place!

I am new-ish to the neighborhood and I've always been meaning to come in, but my job works a little later and I've never been able to catch the restaurant during their hours. I came in yesterday and ordered a prosciutto mozzarella sun-dried tomato balsamic sandwich and I can tell you hands-down that I almost cried because it was so delicious. I went back to the counter and introduced myself and I met Carmine himself and he welcomed me to the neighborhood and said to come in anytime and then he'll take care of me and that he has anything I want in terms of home groceries. he asked if I liked lentil soup and he packed me a cup of soup to go. i'm coming back and I'm bringing all my friends. A class act and an example of what a great business should be!

This was a very good place to come eat some authentic Italian. I ordered the chicken parmesan over linguine, it was definitely good. It's home cooking all the way. Nothing microwave or box food at all. My mother ordered the eggplant over pasta, and that was delicious. Never knew eggplant could taste so good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting authentic Italian. I love home cooking, and that is exactly what you get here. The portions is also impressive. Couldn't finish it all because I got full. The price is well worth it here. It is not expensive at all, especially considering the quantity and quality of their food.

So incredibly fire. Perfect after hitting the courts in Lincoln Park. I got the chicken cutlet, mozz, RRP and balsamic. Listen to the guy — it on the garlic bread, you will thank me later. Everything here is high quality, from the mozz to the oil to the meats. Sometimes chicken cutlets can be bad but you can tell they obviously make these very fresh and in house. I didn’t get to take a photo of it, but here’s a pic of the Italian sub which was equally as good. CASH ONLY!

Excellent deli. The stuffed peppers and sandwiches were delicious. Very limited seating and no bathrooms. The foodbis worth a visit and the staff was great.

When I first moved to US 3 years ago Carmine Deli was the first Deli that i have visited and I was total blown away by it. It's not your Michelin Star restaurant but it is definitely your neighborhood go to place that has been with the community for a long time. The vibe and the food are 100% worth your visit.

Carmine’s will not disappoint. Promise. Classic Italian deli. Cash only. We got the grilled chicken Caesar wrap and the chicken cutlet/moz/long pepper cold sandwich. Both were 10/10 no notes.
